Our upgraded MX-BX42S shreds wood up to 4″ in diameter and has improved suction.MX-BX42S Wood Chipper is powerful and reliable, but still easy to handle. The MX-BX42S includes the PTO shaft with a shear bolt and connects to your CAT I 3-Point Hitch. The upper and lower pins are included.

For maximum performance and flexibility, we recommend you operate your tractor between 25 – 35 HP and a PTO shaft speed of 540 RPM. The direct PTO drive system turns the well-balanced 120lb rotor with its four 8″ knives, made from Hardened tool steel, Chromium CR-12. Reversible chipper blades can be flipped to take advantage of having two cutting edges on one blade

The fast-turning rotor is cutting the wood about 9 times per second and creates the centrifugal force pulling in the material. The counter knife setting produces shredded material from 1cm to 3cm length and thickness is no more than 7mm. The rotor speed and the specially designed rotor winglets create the air suction which throws out the shredded material and makes wood jams virtually impossible.

The discharge funnel is located at 62in. in height and can be turned by 360° with an adjustable throwing angle. The shredded material can be thrown up to 20 ft. in distance making it easy to fill trailers or containers.

Our MX-BX42S PTO wood chipper is designed for easy maintenance. The rotor cover opens by removing only one screw to get access to the knives. For easy transportation, the input chute can be lifted up and secures with a pin.
