This system efficiently handles branches ranging from ¼" to 7" in diameter. For optimal performance when processing 4-inch logs at maximum speed, a tractor with over 20 HP at the PTO is recommended.

The BX62R’s infeed rollers, powered by two hydraulic motors, offer adjustable direction and speed, ensuring smooth operation with branches of varying sizes and shapes. The downward pressure of the rollers can be easily adjusted using two heavy-duty springs, eliminating the need for manual feeding.

The 25-inch, 120 lb flywheel is meticulously balanced and constructed from solid ½" thick steel, mounted on a durable 2" diameter shaft. Reinforced by two industrial-grade bearings, this flywheel features four precision CNC-machined pockets to secure the reversible blades, and it rotates with four robust fan blade paddles at speeds over 540 RPM. Mexx Power Chippers are equipped with four hardened steel blades, each offering dual cutting edges positioned 90 degrees apart. These reversible blades effectively double their lifespan and can be quickly replaced thanks to the innovative 1-Bolt Clamshell design of the flywheel housing.

The 360-degree rotating discharge chute, easily adjusted with a single handle, offers precise control over the direction of the wood chips, regardless of the chipper’s position.
